Chef Kim has opened his first barbecue restaurant in Falls Church, Virginia. The j.y.lee architects investigated a design for the interior that would honor Korea's illustrious past. Traditional Korean elements, such as the texture and color of Korean traditional stone pots, were combined with geometric patterns to inspire the design. Modern Korean barbecue hood systems are installed at each table. The restaurant's unique atmosphere is the result of an eclectic blend of traditional and modern elements.
