Koho BBQ offers a wide range of traditional Korean-inspired dishes, including the highest quality Korean BBQ meats, authentic Korean entrees, side dishes, dessert, and bar on the world-class property Live! Casino & Hotel® Maryland in the Arundel Mills Mall. The restaurant features a main dining room, a full bar and a dessert corner, as well as outdoor seating, a private party room and take-away options. It was crucial that the design incorporate elements from both the modern loft aesthetic and the traditional Korean restaurant aesthetic. As designers, the j.y.lee architects set out with the goal of creating something new out of old, and the j.y.lee architects tried to do that in every way possible. The j.y.lee team took a classic Korean BBQ joint and gave it a sleek lounge bar look by contrasting light and dark wood tones. There is a sense of simplicity and neutrality in the room. A specialized Korean BBQ hood system is built into each table, and rusted iron board and tight chain link board screens keep diners' personal space intact. Using a soft golden Korean landscape design as wall decoration, the room is both interesting and fashionable.
